Great stay with delicious food

I had a wonderful time during my stay, especially enjoying the delicious food options. The meals were generous, and I loved the baked s'mores dessert that was a delightful surprise! The staff was incredibly welcoming, adding to the cozy atmosphere that made my visit enjoyable. I could hear some noise from the bar when it was busy, which might be distracting for light sleepers.

The staff made it feel like a home away from home! The warm welcome started our stay right, and the food was hearty and wholesome—especially the pizza cooked fresh in the wood-fired oven, which prompted a delightful and unexpected dessert we had to try! The cosy family room came with comfy beds and extra treats like biscuits for our tea.

Yes, the room showed its age—bits of dust and cobwebs hid the charm. The shower was a bit of a letdown, and while the bedding was fresh, a few spots could've used a closer look. Still, it all held a certain quirky character.

Loved the homemade pizzas delivered straight to my room when I returned soaked from a long day! The cozy seating areas and beautiful garden made for relaxing spots to unwind after exploring. Charming pub, delightful food, the bar area offered homemade meals made from local produce, and I especially enjoyed the warm welcome and friendly staff that made our stay memorable.

Access to our room was via steep stairs cluttered with items, which wasn’t exactly welcoming. There were significant cleanliness issues in the shower, with thick black scum and poor drainage ruining the experience, and overall, breakfast service could be needlessly slow without much variety offered. A lack of fire evacuation instructions inside the room was also concerning.

i had a great stay at huntsman. the food was delicious, especially the pizzas cooked in a wood-fired oven. the staff made everything so easy for our family, even accommodating our room change without hassle.

The atmosphere was warm and inviting, enhanced by friendly staff who accommodated our late arrival after a long day at a nearby amusement park. Enjoying the delicious pizzas, a highlight of our stay, was complemented by a fulfilling full English breakfast in the morning. the noise from the main road made it difficult to enjoy fresh air, and a couple of pillows were lumpy, affecting sleep quality at times.

Room was cozy and the staff were delightful! After a soaking day at the park, they heroically delivered delicious pizza right to my door—yes, please!
